RV Camping Suppliers: Only the Essentials

from:

It's really amazing how many different types of lanterns are released by RV camping suppliers to market every year. Gas, incandescent, LCD, fluorescent: there are so many different types, it gets confusing. And that's only for lanterns! The rest of RV camping suppliers all have just as many different iterations and variations, and new things are coming out all the time. What's a RV owner to do?

The simple answer is simplicity. Take what you need from the RV camping suppliers available and nothing more. There are certain devices and appliances that can really make a vacation more pleasurable, and these are good things to add to your RV. The rest of it you can leave for your gotta-have-it-all-neighbor who never seems to get down to enjoying his vacations.

A first thing to consider adding to your stock from RV camping suppliers is a Satellite dish. Because, as is obvious, there are certain things that you don't want to get away from when you are getting away from it all: things like your favorite TV show. Satellite TV for your RV keeps you connected to your shows while you're away in the woods or on the road.

You also should have an awning installed on your RV. Of all the RV camping suppliers available, those stocking awnings are probably the most useful. They provide a bit of respite from the summer sun at the beach, and a cool shady spot from which to enjoy mountain breezes. Every camping trip is improved by an awning—and while you're at it, get a turf mat or carpet to put underneath it.

Because it is inevitable that people get lost in strange places, and you, in spite of your best efforts, will be one of those people eventually, you should invest in a GPS system for your RV. Not only do these lovely devices make getting there all that much easier, they also give better directions that 17 year old attendants at gas stations. Save yourself the trouble of asking for help: get it in advance.

You might also consider some LED outdoor lights. These consume almost no energy and have long lasting bulbs: a perfect choice for low maintenance RVing.

These are some of the most basic items available from RV camping suppliers, and only the most basic. If you are going for a specific type of RVing trip, you will want to look into what's needed for it in particular. But, whatever type of trip you do take, remember the golden rule is to take only what you're going to use, and always what you are going to use. Excess backage means excess work, but lack of supplies means even more trouble.
