A camp cooking brisket dutch oven will perform the best and produce the best tasting brisket if you use a cast iron dutch oven. Cast iron dutch ovens bring a unique flavor to your food and are durable, lasting you an entire lifetime with proper maintenance. The other choice for a camp cooking brisket dutch oven is one made of aluminum. These types of dutch ovens are more prone to rusting, but has the benefits of being much lighter than cast iron dutch ovens and are easier to care for and clean.
