There are compromises and these can be found in stores. Watching out for the temperature of the bag and the size is probably the most important. Another item of camping gear one needs to take into consideration if camping over a few days is a camping stove. These can be bought in most outdoor stores and again, they do not have to be big and bulky to serve their purpose. Small stoves can be found that only require some oil to light up and travel size pots can fit on top.
There is also specific camping gear that is better suited to different types of campers. For example, those camping with children, especially young children, will have to take a lot more into consideration than those travelling alone or in a group of peers. Certain precautions need to be taken by all campers but when there are children, there is a lot more to worry about. There is suitable camping gear for families however.
